An uneducated middle age woman with five children Pushpa Bhadravathi is the story, screenplay, dialogue writer and director of the film ‘Naavellaru Barathiyaru’. This is no doubt a record.

Pushpa Bhadravathi in her tear jerker address on Thursday evening had stopped at this film made in too much of difficult it was enough. She went beyond and said her next film will be ‘Oscar’winning film. That has made the media to decide that this woman is seeking publicity and nothing else. When the cameras are on all stupid things are told appear in the television channels they feel. But sharp editing is done in the television offices is not the speakers are aware.

‘Navellaru Bharathiyaru’ is not having any new subject. What the constitution of India says ‘Equality’ is the call of this film.

Without going to school seeking the help of her five children the widow Pushpa Bhadravathi has made the final product.

The cost of Rs.50 lakhs for this film is provided by Mahabaleshwar an ex army official. Mahabaleshwar has three daughters in USA and twin sons are mentally retarded in Bengaluru aged 27 years.

There is only one song in the film. Rashmi daughter of Pushpa studying in 7th standard is the heroine with Jagadish as hero. Ranganath, Shobaraj, Bank Janardhan, Pramila Joshai and others are in the cast.

How come a woman from slum earning money via Cooli Ghare Kelsa becomes a director? The veteran director in KANFIDA Tiptur Raghu showed extra concession to Pushpa Bhadravathi and got her the director card.
